Don is the Engineer in charge of rebuilding the reservoir after Hurricane Charlie and co-author of
The Rivers Dodder & Poddle Mills, Droughts, and the Public Water Supply.
This SAT 6th May 2017 AT 11am
We will be meeting in the Bohernabrena Reservoir Car Park at 11am (just above FORT Bridge on R114) and will walk up to Fishermans Hall, located between the two Lakes. Here Don will give a Talk and Slide Show at 12 about the Reservoir and associated waterworks before proceeding to lead a walk across the Dam and around the upper lake to view this marvel of Victorian Engineering in the beautiful Glenasmole Valley right at the source of the Dodder on Kippure Mountain. To really enjoy your day Bring a Picnic and your Camera.
