Dodder Greenway Submission

Dodder Action supports the development of the Dodder Greenway: a linked-up continuous linear park along the river with improved access, improved amenities and maintenance. 

The Dodder River is a remarkable amenity for its natural environment, heritage, and history, and for the communities through which it flows. Given the right approach, and the involvement of all stakeholders, it will become the Greenway of ‘international renown’ that is the objective of this proposal.

The Proposal for a River Dodder Greenway is currently being designed by the three Councils of South Dublin (SDCC), Dublin City (DCC) and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown (DLR). The preliminary design is based on a Feasibility Study Report by Roughan & O’Donovan.
